We’d like to thank everybody for helping us have a great year in 2020. Though it was out of the ordinary, the club and the wider football community managed to achieve something no other sports code did in the amount of games we were able to play, and thats huge credit to everybody involved.
Also a huge thank you all of our club volunteers, without them none of us get chance to play the game we love.
Looking ahead to next season
As we look ahead to next season, we are excited about building the club, offering great value and experiences for our members and participating across all age groups in a COVID safe manner, following the updated rules and guidelines set out by the NSW Government, Football NSW and the MWFA.
2021 updates
Kit: If any senior teams have sponsors lined up for next season, please come forward. We’re doing our best to get all teams the new kit, but revenues were obviously impacted due to COVID, so it’s not guaranteed. If you have a sponsor its the best way to ensure you have the new kit. Some pitch reconfigurations at Nolan’s to better utilise the space. We’re working with the council to make sure our juniors have the best playing surfaces available.
Canteen: We hope to have more happening at the canteen next season including BBQ. Call out to anybody who has any advice or would like to get involved helping out. Also ALL squads will be rostered on to help at the canteen at some point during the season. Roster will be published once we have the draw. Expectation is a ’shift’ of 3 hours for 4 people.
Registrations: Keep on eye out on social and the website. Registrations will open early January and we’d like you to register early for two reasons: Get in the squad you want to be in, and it’s also a MASSIVE help to our registrars!
Finally, have a great and safe Christmas and New Year, stay fit and hope for some dubbin from Santa to keep those boots polished!
