Why Register Now?
Registering early helps secure your spot on the team you want to play for. During registration, you can request to play with specific friends or name a preferred team. While we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences, spots fill up fast—so don’t wait!
Important Information for Existing Players
PlayFootball – The FFA’s New Registration Platform
Football Federation Australia (FFA) has transitioned all current and previous registrations to PlayFootball. If you’re logging in for the first time, you’ll need to locate and link your existing profile to your new account.
Family-Friendly Accounts
Once your personal PlayFootball account is set up, you can easily add family members to streamline future registrations.
Match Your Email Address
To ensure a smooth transition to the new platform:
- Use the same email address you previously registered with on MyFootballClub
- Your Football Account is essential for retrieving your participant history
- If your email address or social login doesn’t match the one used on MyFootballClub, your history won’t transfer
Quick & Easy Registration Tips!
- Use the same email address (for you or the family) that you used last year
- If you are registering a child for the first time this year, please set up the parent’s account on PlayFootball first, even if you didn’t previously have an account
- The participant will need to provide one of the following documents for approval. The participant may be asked to physically provide the relevant documents for sighting by approved personnel.
- The participant’s Passport Document
- The participant’s Drivers License or ID
- The participant’s Birth Certificate
- You will need a clear headshot of the participant
- Payments can be made with a credit card or debit card at checkout
- Optional: Access the Active Kids Voucher through Service NSW before registering your kids (see below)
Registration Steps with Harbord F.C.
Follow the registration steps below:
Step 1: Active Kids Discount Voucher
The NSW government Active Kids Discount Voucher program continues in 2025.
Active Kids vouchers will become available from 15th January 2025. The voucher value is $50 and is means-tested.
Apply for your voucher before registering for football with Harbord Football Club.

Step 2: Register with Harbord FC in 2025
New Players:
- Create an account with PlayFootball.
Note: If you are creating an account for a child, be sure to register yourself first. - Once you have an account, click the Registration Link below to start your Harbord FC Registration.

Returning Players
You will need to login to PlayFootball, and claim your Participation Record. The system will lookup your details from the old platform, and add you to the new PlayFootball platform.
If registering a child, you must add your own record first, then you can repeats the steps to add your child.

Coaches & Managers
All coaches and managers must also register, via PlayFootball, however, there is no cost or fee, it is free. To register as a coach or manager of a team, please ensure that you have a valid & current Working With Children Check (WWCC) before you register online as you MUST enter your WWCC number as part of the registration. To apply for your WWCC number, click here.
Player Photographs
The system requires ALL players, coaches and managers to upload a current, Australian government passport size and quality photograph when you register online. For the 2024 season, please ensure that a new photo is uploaded when you register online. Please note the specific requirements for the photographs:
- Passport-style portrait photograph
- Shoulders and head on a plain background
- No hats, sunglasses etc
- If you play with approved sports glasses, the glasses must be worn for the photo
If a suitable photograph is not uploaded into your PlayFootball profile, then your registration will not be approved, until this is completed.
Step 3: Application For New Players to Harbord FC (U12+ only)
All new players to Harbord FC from U12 and older, must send proof of age (photo or scan of passport or birth certificate) to our Club Registrar: registrar@harbordfc.com.au

Uniform
As part of registration, all players will receive socks, and new players will also receive shorts.
New in 2025 – All Junior Players will receive a Harbord FC training shirt.
